Your handy everyday guide
The OK:GO initiative helps Swiss tourism providers collect and publish information on the accessibility of their products and services. The Swiss Paraplegics Association provides wheelchair parking-space information via the «ParaMap».
You can hire mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walking sticks and rollators/walkers at Spiess + Kühne in St.Gallen or at Naropa Reha in Staad.
Get around safely and independently on public transport
On the move, without barriers
It is important to Verkehrsbetriebe St.Gallen (St.Gallen Public Transport) that people with reduced mobility and those with pushchairs can negotiate the St.Gallen public transport network safely and independently. You can find more details here.
Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) are also working to make travel easier for people with reduced mobility. You can find all the relevant information on the SBB website.
