Accessible travel

For an inclusive future
To make your visit to our region as pleasant and simple as possible, we have collected useful information, tips, and offers for you here. Whether you have limited mobility or need a little extra support in your everyday life, we want to make your trip relaxed and enjoyable.
We are also happy to provide personal advice by phone (+41 71 227 37 37) or in person during our opening hours.
Practical planning tools
To help you find your way around and enjoy a worry-free stay, we would like to introduce you to some helpful platforms and apps. They provide information on the accessibility of locations, routes, and services.
You can hire mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walking sticks and rollators/walkers at Spiess + Kühne in St.Gallen or at Naropa Reha in Staad.
Get around safely and independently on public transport
On the move, without barriers
It is important to Verkehrsbetriebe St.Gallen (St.Gallen Public Transport) that people with reduced mobility and those with pushchairs can negotiate the St.Gallen public transport network safely and independently.
Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) are also working to make travel easier for people with reduced mobility.
