Rorschach – the idyllic harbour town

This delightful town on the shores of Lake Constance offers a wide range of activities and attractions to make your visit unforgettable. The picturesque harbour town of Rorschach, in the southernmost bay of Lake Constance, is like a dream Mediterranean holiday destination. The corn exchange (Kornhaus), one of the town’s best-known landmarks, was built as a granary in the 18th century. It eventually made Rorschach the most important trading hub for grain merchants from southern Germany. Today, it houses a museum whose exhibits include impressive models of the houses on stilts that used to stand here.
