Schaffhausen – St.Gallen section
This route winds along the Swiss side of Lake Constance. It starts at Europe’s largest waterfall and takes you through the medieval towns of Schaffhausen and Stein am Rhein, finally ending up in the St.Gallen-Lake Constance region. The highlight of this tour is sure to be the Abbey District and its ba-roque cathedral. The Abbey District was designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1983.
