Säntisgipfel panoramic restaurant
The Panorama-Restaurant Säntisgipfel is perched atop the summit of Eastern Switzerland’s famous mountain at over 2,500 metres above sea level.
The cozy restaurant, designed with lots of old wood and stone, offers inviting seating niches and an impressive panorama with views over the Churfirsten peaks to Italy and the entire Swiss Alps. Included in the offer is the cable car ride up the Säntis and back. Breakfast, brunch or the Appenzell Sunday buffet at 2502 m above sea level are a special highlight. The Säntisgipfel restaurant serves traditional and regional cuisine. A Säntis lunch is also available as a combined offer. Special events such as full moon evenings, starry magic or fondue evenings in winter are available for dinner on the Säntis. The restaurant is open during the operating hours of the suspension railroad. Evening events are also possible for groups on request outside regular opening hours.
