Wine tasting at the Steinig table in Thal followed by a Brettl snack
Weingut am Steinig Tisch was founded in 1970 by August Rutishauser and has been run by the third generation, Roman Rutishauser, since 2015. Gault Millau has regularly recognized the winery since 2021, and Roman Rutishauser is one of the 150 best Swiss winemakers.
You have the opportunity to get to know the Steinig Tisch winery, Roman Rutishauser's wines and the Steinig Tisch excursion destination on the following dates:

Afterwards, take a walk through the vineyards and enjoy a well-earned snack (meat and cheese platters) at Daniela Brugger's Steiniger Tisch excursion destination. This is open from 11.30 am. Please register by telephone on 071 888 12 05 at the Steiniger Tisch excursion destination if you are starting at the Steinig Tisch winery.
For the walk, you have the option of taking the direct (steep) route via the steps or taking a leisurely ascent along the Rebkulturweg Thal (Rebenstrasse, Dorfstrasse, Krummbuechstig, Felsenstrasse) and finding out more about winegrowing from the various information boards. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view of Lake Constance and the Appenzell region. The excursion destination Steiniger Tisch will spoil you with Alpine cuisine and offers wines from Roman Rutishauser to accompany the menu.
