The Spezialitätenbäckerei Weder in St.Gallen celebrates the craft of baking and is known for its traditional recipes.
The Spezialitätenbäckerei Weder, a specialty bakery in St.Gallen, has been in existence since 1860 when it was still called the Falk bakery. Robert Weder took over the business from his father in 1978 and expanded it significantly. In addition to its three stores and the Rösslitor bookstore, the bakery supplies various cafeterias, restaurants and wholesalers. For many years, Robert Weder was the president of the Bäcker- und Konditormeister-Verband St.Gallen , the Association of Bakers and Master Pastry Chefs St.Gallen. The third generation is now in charge of the bakery. It has a tradition of making baked goods, cakes and pastries that dates back to 1946. Special baked goods are made fresh daily by hand with natural regional ingredients.
