Tower of Wil
The view from the landmark of the small town of Wil in the Fürstenland region extends all the way to the Bernese Alps.
189 steps to get to the top. However, the climb up is rewarded with a magnificent view over the town and region of Wil, as far as Toggenburg and Hinterthurgau, from the Churfirsten and Säntis mountains to the peaks of the Bernese Oberland region and the Austrian Alps. On a clear day you can even see as far as Lake Constance.
Hungry visitors can grill on one of the two nearby barbecue areas.
The unique wooden structure and Wil landmark, visible from far and wide, can only be reached on foot following the marked paths.
