Schweizerische Südostbahn
Schweizerische Südostbahn AG (SOB) is an independent, integrated railroad company managed according to private-sector criteria, which includes all the divisions required by a public transport company.

Each year, the SOB transports over 32 million passengers (commuters and leisure travelers) on modern trains and maintains its own 111-kilometer rail network with numerous engineering structures (19 tunnels and 192 bridges, including the Sitter Viaduct, Switzerland’s highest railway bridge at 99 meters). The unique and vibrantly colored Swiss landscape—with its mountains, valleys, and lakes—slowly glides past the windows of SOB trains, impressing and fascinating tourists and locals alike. The most beautiful destinations along the SOB railway line are perfect for a day trip or a stopover. Discover the Voralpen-Express, Treno Gottardo, Aare Linth, or Alpenrhein-Express.
