The Schützengarten brewery was founded in 1779 by Johann Ulrich Tobler and is today the oldest brewery in Switzerland. Still in the original location, Schützengarten is a successful, independent company and one of the most modern breweries in Switzerland technologically speaking. In addition to the production and sale of the award-winning Schützengarten beers, the brewery also sells a wide range of other drinks.
