Palace

The Palace tracks down pop-cultural trends and surprising sounds with a varied music program. The program also includes lectures on topics ranging from traffic planning and the media crisis to the end of the world.
The Palace, which had been run as a cinema for decades, was opened as a concert venue in 2006 by a group of regional artists. With a unique program for Eastern Switzerland, the Palace quickly developed into a concert venue that attracted attention beyond the city and national borders. The varied music program follows pop-cultural trends, interesting niches and surprising sounds. The lecture series "Erfreuliche Universität" deals with current social, political and cultural issues and has developed into an important urban meeting point for discussion.
