Since its foundation in 1991, the Kunsthalle Wil has seen itself as a forum for contemporary art with a focus on experimental space. The Kunsthalle Wil shows the works of artists who have already worked independently for several years and attracted attention with innovative, interesting works of art, but who have not yet made a name for themselves among the stars of the art scene and art trade. The museum mainly gives artists who don’t usually show their work in galleries the opportunity to exhibit their work to a wider audience.
