Hongler Kerzen
The oldest traditional candle-maker in Switzerland gives the world light.
As early as 1703, the name Hongler appears in the account ledgers of the parish of Berneck. The family is still in the candle business today. They make the perfect candle for any occasion, no matter whether christenings, Easter, weddings or simply as decoration. The shop invites visitors to take their time browsing.
During a guided tour of the company, visitors will learn a lot of valuable and interesting facts about this traditional craft. A short presentation outlines the history of the candle in more detail. During the tour through the factory, visitors can see how a candle is made from wax and wick.
