The ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The place of pilgrimage St. Iddaburg can be reached in a beautiful hike through idyllic paths in about an hour. Likewise, many beautiful hikes in gently rolling countryside are possible directly from the site. The widely known Fischingen monastery can be reached on foot in about an hour. The surroundings of Gähwil are also ideal for bike tours or for relaxing. For further excursions, e.g. to the old town of Wil or to the cantonal capital of St.Gallen, there is a bus stop directly at the site.
