A place of diversity with an interactive exhibition "all about enjoyment" that is unique in Switzerland, barbecue and sausage seminars, a gourmet store and a restaurant area with a fireplace and bar and a view of the Alpstein.
Breitenmoser Appenzeller Fleischspezialitäten AG is one of the leading meat processing companies with specialist stores in Appenzell, Gais, Teufen and Rorschacherberg. The traditional butcher's shop with unique Appenzeller specialties dates back to 1896, the year it was founded. Since May 2023, there has also been the diverse "Breitenmoser Gustarium" experience world, which offers interesting and entertaining things to do with meat and sausage. Parties and seminars can be held here by prior arrangement. You can also visit the exhibition spontaneously and enjoy a freshly sliced Appenzeller Plättli with a drink in the light-flooded butcher's parlor "meet & (m)eat". In the gourmet store, you can browse, be inspired by the recipe wall and take Appenzell specialties and delicacies home with you.
