A.Vogel medicinal plant show garden and adventure world
Alfred Vogel (1902–1996) moved to Teufen in the Appenzell region in the 1930s. It was here that the pioneer of naturopathy lived, wrote his successful health books, and began producing medicines from fresh plants. Today, the A. Vogel Medicinal Plant Show Garden, the A. Vogel Museum, the A. Vogel Drugstore, and the A. Vogel Publishing House are all located here on the Hätschen.
Over 120 different medicinal plants and herbs grow in the Medicinal Plant Show Garden at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, surrounded by the magnificent panorama of the Alpstein and nestled in the gentle green hills of the Appenzell region.

Walk-in visitors can visit the Medicinal Plant Show Garden in Teufen daily free of charge. The museum and the drugstore are open Monday through Friday. Groups are encouraged to reserve a guided tour, which includes a tour of the museum.
The A.Vogel Medicinal Plant Show Garden has held the “Natur-im-Garten” certification since July 2021.
