Textilland Classic Tour

A tour in a vintage post car through the textile region of Eastern Switzerland.
The journey starts in the St.Gallen Textile Museum. Here you will gain fascinating insight into the developments and prospects of the textile industry from the Middle Ages to the present. You are then taken in a vintage post bus out of town to the outdoors, passing huge orchards that entice with their blossoms during spring and later with succulent fresh fruit. Your next stop is the Saurer Museum in Arbon with its embroidery and weaving machines and vehicles from the Saurer production. From Arbon to Rorschach we switch to a boat from the vintage post bus. Enjoy a delightful trip on Lake Constance with a view of the crossroads of four countries. The last stop is back on dry land, the Forum Würth. The route then takes us back to St.Gallen.
