Rhein-Schauen Museum and Rheinbähnle

Experience the wonderfully diverse landscape in the nature reserve on Lake Constance
Rhein-Schauen is a special kind of museum. The combination of work yard, exhibition and service railroad is what makes it so attractive. Informative, entertaining and varied.
An interesting panopticon awaits visitors to the Werkhof Lustenau. Technology to touch, landscape to experience, more than 120 years of living history, but also the present and future presented in an exciting and understandable way.
The route of the train leads from the starting point, the Lustenau depot, up the Rhine to Wiesenrain; special trips can be booked individually to suit your needs. The trip from the depot downstream leads directly into the nature reserve to the Schleienlöchern. With one of the historic electric locomotives from the 1940s or a steam locomotive from 1910 or 1920, guests of all ages can experience the wonderfully diverse landscape around Lake Constance and the Rhine.
