The St.Gallen Ecomarket - natural, diverse and regional

The Eco Market in St. Gallen focuses on the future while building on a 30-year tradition. With a wide variety of stalls, the Eco Market combines experience, enjoyment, and inspiration with climate protection and sustainability. The offerings range from regional foods to plants for gardens and balconies, and from upcycled crafts to energy-saving solutions. In addition, food stalls and picnic tables make the Ökomarkt a popular gathering place. It was launched in 1996 by the City of St. Gallen’s Department of Environment and Energy. Since 1999, the Ökomarkt Interest Group has been responsible for organizing the event.
