Path of Diversity
The cultural and historical diversity of St. Gallen is evident in various locations throughout the city. The “Path of Diversity” allows visitors to explore the city on their own using simple digital tools, discovering previously unknown places of remembrance and their history. On the one hand, the path addresses problematic representations or places with a troubled past from a contemporary perspective and establishes historical references. On the other hand, it highlights inspiring stories of people who have stood up for human rights and justice.
The individual locations can be found on the interactive map. The locations can be visited in any order. Your current location can be displayed on the map on your mobile phone. It is also possible to filter the locations by category (e.g. women, sexism or queer, homophobia).
