Art zone in the Lokremise

The art zone in the Lokremise , the second venue of the art museum, serves as cultural laboratory for contemporary art.

It is part of the Lokremise cultural centre that was opened in 2010 by the canton of St.Gallen. The direct proximity to the Kinok cinema and dance/theatre creates fascinating synergies while the raw character of the interior makes process-oriented exhibitions and “artist-in-residence” projects possible.
