Accessible and inclusive

Since the end of April 2020, Workaut has been operating the inclusive "Kiosk Georg" at the mountain station of the Mühleggbahn in the city of St.Gallen. This is a meeting place for the population as well as for out-of-towners who visit the recreational area "Drei Weieren". People with and without disabilities work together in the "Kiosk Georg". In this way, the kiosk becomes an employer for people who have few opportunities in conventional workplaces. The access is designed barrier-free and the assortment is marked with Metacom symbols, which facilitate communication. This makes it possible for all people to participate in social life. The kiosk has a classic assortment in a manageable size, good coffee as well as a changing offer of seasonal products from the surrounding area.
