Baumgartner Kaffee

The oldest coffee roastery in the old town of St.Gallen offers various coffee and tea blends as well as spirits and delicacies.

From as early as 1799, groceries could be bought at Multergasse 6 – in the Haus zum Rebstock . The company has always been in the hands of the Baumgartner family. Around 1900, Hans Baumgartner put the first coffee roasting machine into operation. Individual recipes for the blends date back to this period and are still in use today. The shop has a coffee roastery and a specialty coffee and tea shop on the ground floor.
