Adventure brewing course

Adventure brewing course
Join our beer sommelier for an exciting day (approx. 6.5 hours) and brew your own beer in a group.

After a welcome and a light snack, you will be introduced to the rich world of Schützengarten beers and learn important facts and stories about brewing and beer in general. You will lend a hand with the brewing process (mashing, stirring, resting, lautering). A brewer's meal will be served while the wort is boiling and the hops are added. Then it's on to the second part with the production steps in the whirlpool, the addition of yeast, and filling the fermentation tank. The sommelier will introduce you to the science of aromas and explain which foods go particularly well with the various styles of beer. The event will be rounded off with a small snack platter.

Five weeks later, you can pick up approximately three 33cl bottles of your own beer at the beverage store in St. Gallen.
