Design on Focus

A half-hour lunchtime guided tour in English with our Head of Collections, Luba Nurse, through the permanent exhibition ‘Guter Stoff’, focusing on design.

Good fabric helps in all situations: textiles accompany us through life like a second skin, protecting us, fostering a sense of belonging and shaping our identity. The permanent exhibition invites you on a journey of discovery through a range of fascinating objects – from glamorous stage dresses and informative pattern books to practical climbing ropes.

Participation in the guided tour is free; only the museum admission fee applies. The meeting point is at 12 noon in the foyer of the Textile Museum. We recommend that you register for the event.
