Hotel Restaurant Militärkantine
A free-standing bathtub with park view, an overnight stay in a tower with rain shower or tucked into a snug little room – this is a wonderful place to spend the night.
Only 10 minutes on foot westward from the city centre, the Kreuzbleichepark infuses St.Gallen with a cosmopolitan air thanks to its colourful hustle and bustle. Here, surrounded by chestnut trees, lies the Militärkantine, a unique timber-framed building that was built as officers' quarters in 1900 and today is a listed heritage building.
The 21 spacious rooms with oriels, balconies and claw-foot bathtubs invite you to stay and relax. All rooms are equipped with exquisite designer furniture from the Nordic countries, each piece is individual, yet a common look and feel is discernible.
The two large dining rooms, the 110 m² historical dining room and the 70 m² original kitchen can be rented for celebrations, business meetings and banquets.
